Boingo Mobile Quick Start Guide for Windows Mobile 5.0 & 6.0
- Download Boingo Mobile software for Windows Mobile at: mobile.boingo.com/download. Use the .exe file to download the software to your PC. Note: Microsoft ActiveSync is recommended for downloads to your PC. Alternatively, you can download Boingo Mobile from your device's browser (via an open Wi-Fi hotspot, your home or office network, or the WWAN connection on your phone) using the .CAB file. Mac users should download the Boingo Mobile .CAB file.
- Install Boingo Mobile software.
- If you downloaded Boingo Mobile software to your PC, connect your device via the manufacturer supplied USB cable and then double-click on the Boingo Mobile .exe file. The Install Wizard will appear. Click Install to continue. You will be prompted to continue the installation on your device.
- If you downloaded Boingo Mobile software to your device, double-click on the Boingo .CAB file. The Install Wizard will appear. Click Install to continue.
- To locate Boingo Mobile on your device, go to the Start menu and select Programs. Select the Boingo Mobile icon to begin signup or to login. Note: to sign up for Boingo Mobile, you must first connect to the Internet (via an open Wi-Fi hotspot, your home or office network, or the WWAN connection on your phone).
- If you have an existing Boingo Mobile account, enter your username and password and select Ok. Your user credentials will be saved automatically. When you are in a Boingo Hotspot, the Boingo Mobile client will instantly connect you.
- If you are a new user, create a Boingo Mobile account by selecting Sign up Now! When you have completed the signup process, your user credentials will be saved automatically and your device will update with the latest hotspot settings.
- Alternatively, you can create a Boingo Mobile account on your PC at mobile.boingo.com/nokia/signup. When you have completed the signup process on your PC, open Boingo Mobile on your device and enter the username and password you created.
